  1. Introducing the BluFlow Control

The BluFlow Control is a compact and versatile pond pump that you can use for, for example, your filter, as a fountain pump, for your waterfall, or a stream. Using the control knob on the front, you can easily adjust the flow. The pump can be used in a wet setup in your pond, but also in a dry setup once you remove the filter lid. The BluFlow Control comes in different capacities: 1,800 litres per hour for the smaller pond and 5,800 litres per hour for the medium-sized pond.

  2. Unpacking the BluFlow Control

The BluFlow Control comes in a compact box that protects it during transport.

  3. What's in the box

    • Manual and the pump
    • Pump with 10-metre cable
    • Filter lid, control knob, and outlet for the pump
    • Base with suction cups for stable placement, or mounting with two screws to a technical pit
  4. Connectors

The pump comes with various connectors, ranging from 20, 25, and 32 millimetres, so you can connect the hose to the top or, if needed, the front.

  5. Using it as a filter pump

Thanks to its compact shape and different functions, the BluFlow Control can be used in many ways, for example as a filter pump. In that case, the pump draws water in through the filter basket and sends it via the outflow to your filter. Using the control knob, you can always lower the flow a bit if it's too high. You can also use this for, say, a waterfall or a stream, letting you create the perfect waterfall for your pond.

  6. Dry setup and skimmer

You can remove the filter lid, which gives you an extra connection for, say, a skimmer. This also lets you use the pump in a dry setup by placing it outside the pond and connecting the intake hose.

    • Make sure the pump stays below water level
    • The pump is not self-priming and must always be supplied with water
  7. Head height and uses

The pump also has a high head height with low energy use, making it suitable for pumping to greater heights too, like for a waterfall or stream. This makes it usable in many situations, and it's ideally suited for the smaller to medium-sized pond.
